FRAU RITTER 2.0 – ABOUT THE EXHIBITION AND THE SYMBOLISM OF THE SNAKE IN CHINESE CULTURE A GUIDED EXHIBITION AND DISCUSSION WITH LALA RAŠČIĆ AND DING XIAOSHUANG

The year 2025 is the year of the snake according to the Chinese horoscope. At the invitation of the artist, guest Ding Xiaoshuang, professor of Chinese language and culture in Zagreb, will speak about the symbolism of the snake in Chinese culture in the context of the installation Frau Ritter 2.0. Lala Raščić will give the opening remarks and talk about the processes of working on the installation: through technical realization and through research into the semantic tandem of women/snakes.

The exhibition is held as part of the Meštrović Pavilion Guest Program.
