From 25 to 28 September 2014, Zavod P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. will participate in the ninth edition of the largest and most prestigious fair of artist’s books in the world, the NY Art Book Fair in New York. The fair will take place in the spaces of MoMA P.S.1 in Queens.
Zavod P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. will be exhibiting at the fair for the sixth year. This year, alongside the standard offer of artist’s books from the younger generation of Slovenian artists, Zavod P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. presents three world premieres: an exclusive presentation of the new artist’s book by Lala Raščić with the title “Lala’s Reader” (the author will be signing the book, Friday 26.9.2014 at 3:00 pm), a presentation of the book Dialectionary, published by the Cluster network of European of independent centres of contemporary arts (of which Ljubljana’s P74 Center and Gallery is also a member) and the new publication of Suzana Milevska “The Art of Tadej Pogačar: From Institutional “Parasitism” to Reverse Recuperation, Agency, and Solidarity”, published by Berlin publishing house Archive Books.
